Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, one of the daughters of musicians from Mexico was born into the music-loving parents of her family. She grew up listening to traditional, old boleros as well as the traditional ranchero, romantic, and romance ballads. Ana enjoys tangos, opera, and any form of dramatic performance. She was taught by her mother to sing, but she began an intensive training in vocals with Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. his name was known as a famous Mexican opera tenor. The School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. When she was a student, and a young professional, she performed with many chamber groups and opera choruses in Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. She currently performs traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. As a musician and teacher she's committed to many projects in the community because of her passion and passion for music. Ana was also an ex-member of Community Chorus of Redlands as along with The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana hopes, through her performance her love of Latin American traditional songs, that she can inspire an interest, especially among younger people and keep the tradition alive.
