MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The worldwide success of his career has seen him enter mainstream Latin music. In the year 2017, his 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. The singer released his first long-player ADN for the Medellin-based Sony-distributed La Industria Inc. This album peaked at eight in the Top Latin Albums charts. He then joined Ozuna for The Top Five smash Vaina Loca. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel on Mala Influencia and released the album Dopamina within the year following. Later in 2021 he was featured performing a duet TINI on her top streaming track Maldita Foto. In 2023, the year 2000, the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo's brother and mother also played instruments when Turizo was born. According to Turizo, music was an integral component of his childhood. In his childhood he was instructed to play the piano, saxophone and guitar. Although his first choice of career was a career as a vet His brother Julian got him to attend singing lessons with a Cuban teacher. The end consequence of discovering the talent as a performer changed the trajectory of his life.
